Year graduating?

2023

Why did you join the EEA?

I joined the EEA as I knew I wanted to have a career in sports behind the scenes, especially in the AFL. Combining what I knew I was passionate about and wanted to learn with the club I have loved and supported my whole life was an easy decision on what to do. Partnering with RMIT the EEA provided some of the best coursework out there from all the similar courses, this course has been so worth it and definitely worth joining. Business is also a versatile subject and area of knowledge that can be used in so many aspects of life it was perfect and really allowed me to keep my options open for the job I want in the future.

Most memorable experience from the EEA?

I think my favourite experience so far is hard to pinpoint. The course has allowed me to experience so many different areas and opportunities for me to get involved. I think some of the most rewarding experiences have been with the VFLW team and their finals series, the VWFL team and learning about them, which is something I hadn’t seen much of before and also the recruiting placement that I have been doing and seeing all the new talents coming through knowing I’ll be able to watch them for years to come. I think another big thing is the connections and networking opportunities that I have had have also been amazing and once in a lifetime and something that will definitely help me in the future.

Future Career goals?

I want to be able to work within the AFL industry. I have always had a passion for operations both at the club level and at the AFL level and would love to work somewhere within there. Hopefully, one day be running my own department of people trying to help build a successful football club.

Something not many people would know about you?

I have been a dancer since I was 4 and it is one of my favourite things to do.
