Year graduating?

2023

Why did you join the EEA?

I have always been passionate about sport and about the Essendon Football Club. Combined with Business, which I have always been interested in, this course seemed like a perfect opportunity. I was also at a stage in my life where I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I wanted something that would not take up too many years of my life. Seeing everything involved in the EEA and the fact that it was a one-year course, it was the best option I found out there and seemed like the whole package.

Most memorable experience from the EEA?

So far, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking part in placements around the club. Particularly working with the community team and participating in the wheelchair teams trainings and match days. Every placement gives you the opportunity to interact with staff members all over the club as well as proud Essendon members and fans.

Future Career goals?

My main goal is to work for Essendon once I have completed my course. I have enjoyed working in the different departments around the club and I have met so many amazing people that I would love to work with in the future. I also plan to complete a Bachelor of Business at RMIT in which I’ll only have to complete two years full time instead of three as I would have completed this course.

Something not many people would know about you?

I run my own futsal club called ‘FC Tekkkerslovakia’. Check it out on instagram @fctekkerslovakia_official
